Alan is a well known Tampa Bay, Florida financial educator, author and host. He is a 30 year veteran of the financial services industry having worked as a stock broker in the 1980s and owned his own full-service Broker-Dealer in the 1990s (until 2003) - where he also served as the Chief Compliance Officer -
It is also where he began his radio career. Alan was the host of the number one rated financial radio show in Tampa Bay - "Inevitable Wealth"!
In July 2003 Alan founded “Alan L. Rosenberg & Company, Inc.” An Independent, Fee-Based Registered Investment Advisory Firm. Alan believes that as a “fee-based” registered investment advisor he is better able to address the needs, goals, and dreams of his clients. In contrast to “brokers”, “Insurance Agents”, and Bankers (all of whom may refer to themselves as “financial advisors or planners”) registered investment advisors are always legally required to act as fiduciaries to their clients. This means that they must put their clients’ interests first. Also, independent fee-based advisors are more closely aligned with their clients because they are generally free from the conflicts, constraints, and pressures that the others may face. Alan currently holds the FINRA securities licenses: Series 7, Series 24, Series 63 and Series 79 as well as Insurance licenses: Life, Health & Variable Products.
Alan is also the author of the book: “A Guide To Personal Finance and Estate Planning” and his new book (available on Amazon) "Your Guide to Retirement Income - including Social Security and Medicare Planning", as well as various brochures covering such topics as Mutual Funds, IRAs, CDs, Annuities, and 401(k) Plans and other Qualified Plans.
